A/N: It was so hard to even choose which fic to remix, here – I am such a fan of _thirty2flavors , and I honestly think this writer is one of the best going on LJ - the sort of writer who makes you read something you may otherwise have skipped past, just because their name is attached to it. So yes – very, very difficult, but I eventually chose this one, took a direct quote from the end and ran with it. The original focused more on the actual conversation; I worked more on the build-up to it. I hope it's not too terrible!

Anyone who agrees with Sally Sparrow that "sad is happy for deep people" and who doesn't mind being spoilered for a month-old episode of the BBC's 2006 Robin Hood series (3x09, A Deadly Deal) should watch this, because it makes me bawl every time I see it.

You don't need to have ever seen RH to understand it. It's an amalgamation of all the 3x09 scenes between two people.

He is Guy of Gisborne, she is a random prisoner in the castle dungeons for refusing to marry any of the men her father chose for her. Isabella is Gisborne's sister and Sheriff of Nottingham. That should be all you need to know to follow. The main girl has never been in the show before so it's not like there's a long or complicated history you need to understand.

I think this is honestly some of the most beautifully acted and written television I've seen in a long time.

On a less depressing note, I have a job interview next week! It's only delivering catalogues and selling make-up, nothing much, but I really need a job for the summer so I hope it goes well.

It's so difficult trying to get hired as a uni student. I can't get a job in Lampeter as it's tiny so for starters there are very few jobs ever going, but I'm also not there for a huge chunk of the year, and I can't get a job here because I'm only here for three months over the summer.

However, even if I don't get a job it looks set to be a good summer - I'm spending September in Russia, volunteering in orphanages, schools, centres for deaf children etc, plus weekends off to travel around the country. I'm so nervous but so glad I finally got around to doing this.

Very, very, very sorry for being such a neglectful friend and LJer.

And also surprised if any of you still remember who I am!

Life has been ridiculously hectic recently, but I've now finished my first year of university and have nothing to do but job hunt until August (when I am going to volunteer in Russian orphanages, yay!) so I have no excuse but to start updating again and catch up with you all. I just didn't want to come on here and be like O HAI GUYZ I'M DOING THIS BUT O I HAZ NO TIEM TO READ UR ENTRIES because that would be rude, you know? So no reading and commenting = no posting.

I have used my time very - er - productively to complete my first year and get addicted to several new programmes. So if there are any Bones, Buffy, Cupid, Dollhouse or Star Trek fans on my flist (or if I even still have a flist) - hello! Yay, more shared interests!

So! How are you all?! How is life? I've missed you all!

Quite apart from real life taking over, I'm just excited about what happens next. And glad that a certain someone won't have control over a certain character.
